Summer Time..

Hey everyone,

The weather has been amazing in Dublin the last week so I finally got to take out some of my favourite summer clothes! I got this playsuit in Oysho last summer and I love it so much. Oysho is a chain store that is in basically every country except Ireland, I got this while in Lanzarote last summer. They do gorgeous underwear and swimwear, as well as clothes, and aren't too expensive at all. They only do tiny sizes though which is a bit annoying. Check out there website here.

I'm finished college now and have some time off from my jobs so it is great to be able to hang out and do nothing all day after an extremely hectic few months. If you are in Ireland I hope you are enjoying this heatwave, I know I am!

The Birds?

Happy Easter Everyone!

I spent my day watching Hitchcock movies and eating a worrying amount of chocolate. Has anybody else ever watched The Birds? I loved it. It looks a bit mental now but I can imagine that it was terrifying at the time. The special effects were amazing considering it was 1963! What's your favourite old movie?

Editorial in Misfits Magazine..

These photos are from a shoot I did a few months ago with the Emily Greene. These are some of my favourite photos in my portfolio and I really can't praise Emily enough. I've worked with her a few times now and she is so easy to work with it and just lovely in general. If anyone is thinking about getting a portfolio done I would definitely recommend her! The photos were featured in an editorial in the March Issue of Misfits magazine. Check out the photos here from page eleven! The lovely girls from 1st Option decided to put the image of my face below on the front of my first model Comp Card. Very excited to see it!

DCU Fashion Show 2012..

Hey Guys,

So I modelled in the DCU Fashion Show 2012 last Tuesday night. After months of rehearsals and so much work from all the producers the night went perfectly. I was so happy to be in it, it was honestly one of the best experiences I have had! I have met so lovely people and new friends.

And the big part of the night for me was winning Model of The Year! I cannot express how happy I am to be represented by 1st Option. Hopefully you will now all be seeing my face somewhere other than my blog ;)

Project Young Designer..

Hey Guys,

A few weeks ago I modelled in the Project Young Designer Fashion Show. It was such a good day and I was amazed by the clothes designed by young Irish designers. The dress I am wearing above was designed by Shauna Harrison. It is such a cute, girly and my first thoughts when seeing it were 'ohh i hope i get to wear that one!'. So when Shauna asked me to wear it I was delighted. The judges obviously loved the dress too as it made it to the final at the end of March. The final is going to be a part of The DCU fashion show which I am also modelling in; so excited!

 The second piece I modelled is in the photo above. It is an amazing dusty pick, skin-tight leotard that was wrapped in the same colour pink ribbon. It was inspired by human muscles and the way they move. I love the way she represented human muscles in such a beautiful way. Unfortunately it didn't get into the final and I was honestly shocked by that decision. Obviously this isn't something I would wear on a night out but it was so interesting and well made.  

If any of you live in the Dublin area i would really recommend coming to the DCU Fashion Show on the 27th of March. You will see the final of PYD amongst so much more.

My Little Bird..

I started back in college this week after the world's longest Christmas break (2 months!!) and went back to work too. It's weird actually having stuff to do after having nothing to do for so long. Christmas feels like a million years ago! Over the break I went to California and then London with the dance society in my college. I had an amazing time, the people were so nice and we went to Wicked and Chicago as well as dance classes in Pineapple studios-it was slightly surreal!

I'm happy to be back in my regular routine of college and work though. I missed my college friends so much. It was great to see everyone again. I missed work aswell, I'm so broke it's ridiculous. The uniform in Hollister changed which made me way more excited than I should've been, and the playlist changed aswell which is always great. After hearing the same songs every hour for twenty hours a week for 2 months any change is very welcome! I managed to not hate some playlist songs though; Ed Sheeran Little Bird and Coldplay U.F.O Keljet remix. You should definitely check them out!

Chillin with Pixie Lott..
